By  |

We’ve just been alerted that Alexander Siddig has a guest starring role in Sky Atlantic’s mini-series Falcón: The Blind Man of Seville. Based on [easyazon-link asin=”B0085SGCGA”]the bestselling novel[/easyazon-link] by Joseph Wilson, the two-episode series stars Marton Csokas as Javier Falcón, a Chief Inspector for the Seville police. Falcón: The Blind Man of Seville follows Falcón‘s investigation into a brutal killing which stirs long forgotten memories. As Falcón investigates the crime, and finds himself drawn to the widow of the victim, he discovers the secret truth about his artist father’s violent history in Tangier and the Spanish Civil War. Sid plays Julio Menendez. I’ve not read the book, so I’m not familiar with the character; feel free to fill us in below if you know the story!

Falcón: The Blind Man of Seville airs Thursday, November 15 at 10PM on Sky.

Mel started a fan site for Siddig in 1996, as a way to learn HTML and to promote his charitable endeavors. In 1998, he proposed that it become his official fan site; she quickly agreed and a long-distance friendship was born. You can reach Mel at mel[at]sidcity[dot]net.
