SID STARS IN CAIRO TIME
Sid is currently on location in Cairo, Egypt, filming his latest project - Cairo Time. He co-stars with Patricia Clarkson (Far From Heaven). In the film, Clarkson plays a woman who arrives in Cairo to meet her husband (Tom McCamus) only to be told he is unavoidably delayed in Gaza and has in turn sent his friend (Sid), a retired Egyptian police officer, to pick her up. The brief love affair that follows catches them both completely off guard.
SID TO ATTEND LONDON FILM & COMIC CON
Sid is confirmed to appear at the London Film & Comic Con running July 19-20. It has not yet been announced which day he will attend, so check back to the LFCC site for updates. [more || discuss]
SID TO APPEAR AT CREATION CON IN VEGAS
It's just been announced that Sid is scheduled to appear at Creation's Convention in Las Vegas. Sid's appearance will benefit DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS, one of his chosen charities. He is tentatively scheduled to appear on Saturday, August 9; more details to come! [more || discuss]

MALCOLM MCDOWELL JOINS CAST OF DOOMSDAY
Sid's uncle, Malcolm McDowell, has joined the cast of Doomsday. Malcolm
will play Kane, the brilliant scientist who is the only true expert on the lethal Reaper virus, threatening human civilization. While it is unlikely that Sid and Malcolm will share the screen, this does mark the first time they have shared the credits for the same project.

VINTAGE SID: ADM SCREENCAPS
Thanks to the lovely babel, we've added 50+ screencaps of Sid as Emir Feisel in A Dangerous Man: Lawrence After Arabia to the SidCity.net Gallery. One of Sid's first projects, ADM co-starred Ralph Fiennes and was filmed for the BBC in 1990. This is the infamous project which led to Sid being cast in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. [more || discuss]
