Just ordered one. It looks great, but can anyone tell me where I can get a copy of the photo used for September?

It's one I haven't managed to upload to the Gallery yet. I'll get it up there soon.

Finally got in, haven't been able to reply to this topic since yesterday (don't worry, I haven't been trying continuously!).

I went to the page where you'd put the sample pages, it's so appropriate where you put the first prize winner's image (right in February...). I like where mine is too, showed my mum and she went "Oh August, right in the month of my birthday!"

Thanks Mel, for the opportunity to showcase my work in the calendar.

For those wondering, the September image is from the Star Trek 30th Anniversary Gala. I did some cropping and messing with the edges to get it to blend.

And the December image? Well, that would be the magic of PhotoShop, once again. I figured out how to change the color of his shirt. A gold star to whomever can figure out where the picture came from and the original color of his shirt.

I hope I have this correct but I think you have used one of the images from the Tulsa convention from this year and

1 * Taken the cowboy hat away

2 * Changed the peach shirt to a wine colour

Do I get the gold star?

I *just* ordered a calendar yesterday (big Duran Duran fan) but it looks like I may have to splurge for another one.

Yeah, that September pic.... killer. That's what sold me. (heh, I like that icon)

I too am the proud owner of a Sidcity 2006 Calendar, oh happy days!

P.S. I noticed the bit about the mushy peas got in, thanks for that! Anyone who either owns the calendar or was in the Sidcity chat with Sid for that knows what it's all about.

I cracked up when I ran across that quote again and knew that it had to be used. Those wondering what it's all about should visit SidCity.net and look in the Library for the chat archives.
