I just thought I would give my birthday greetings to Sid now since I'm headed into University tomorrow and probably won't get a chance to say it. It's 10.45pm in the UK, so not long to his birthday anyway.
Happy Birthday Sid, have a great one!

Well, since he's in New York, he won't turn 40 for another 6 hours (or is it five? I'm confused.

) unless you're going by the time zone he was born in, in which case it's very possible that he is already 40, but at the same time, you would have to know his TOB (Time Of Birth) in order to know precisely how long it would be....
I'm just kidding guys! Please don't hurt me...

whoops, missed that point entirely...Happy Birthday, Sid!

We were both born in a year ending in 5 and we met in a year ending in 5. (See photo from 1995.) I came to London for my 60th birthday to see Sid in Whose Life Is It Anyway? and Sid came to the U.S. on his 40th for the premiere of Syriana. I imagine the next time we have a year ending in 5 I'll be ready to retire and Sid will be at the peak of his career.
Happy Birthday, Sid. You've added so much fun to the last decade.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR SSSIIIIDDDDDDDDD
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU and many many more!
I hope it's a wonderful day and you have many surpirses. Not the big kind, but the little ones that you'll remember for a long time.
Now a wish.
I wish for you many hours of pleasure (to make up for the ones you have given up to entertain us), and days that are filled with good cheer, sunshine, and time spent with friends who make you feel life is good.
Best wishes,

Happy Birthday, Sid!
In honor of your birthday, I have composed a poem.
In fact, I'm still composing it.
Yes, I am! Seriously!
I might have it here by Sid's 41st birthday. Maybe.
Love ya anyways, Sid.

Happy Birthday a bit late, dear Mr. Siddig!!! My computer just got back on line after two months of severe Internet Withdrawal. Don't know if you'll ever personally read this but you mean a lot to me! The character of Dr. Bashir that you played so well has become a big part of my life right now as I struggle through some of the same personal issues that Julian often seemed to find himself caught up in and still does in all the fanfics I read. I was so amazed that my mental image of Julian's character was so dead-on close to the impressions that I get from most of your fans and from the way fanfic authors choose to portray him. As a former (very former---decades ago) theater person, this just means to me how good an actor you must be to have kept that character so true. So, Julian remains a true 'friend' as all good characters do, whether in books or on the screen. Julian has taught me a lot. I want to add that 'Imad' has taught me a lot, also and brought me new Muslim friends.( Especially after I showed the Muslim ladies I work with the issue of East-West Woman with your interview and picture--okay, it was probably mostly the picture!) They respect my Catholocism and I respect their Islam. I am learning more about God everyday from them and I hope they are learning from me, too. Our dear departed Pope JohnPaul II said there is beauty and goodness and truth in every religion if we are willing to look for it. God is Love--Peace! Love, Siddigfan

Hello Siddig:
I just wanted to share something with you. And yes, it falls into the birthday cathegory.
See here: We share the same year and month, but I was born the day before (Nov. 20th).
So you see, I am but one day older than you! Imagine that. See you!
