Full Version: New Best Value Actor

There was a time when Harrison Ford was considered the best value in Hollywood. Comparing his salary to the box office of his movies made him a bargain.

There's a new "best value" actor out there and it's someone Sid has worked with and liked. The ratio is 1/29 with the "1" being his salary and the "29" representing the box office of his recent movies.

Can you guess the new value champ?

How strange Carol. I was just reading about this actor. He is either the lead or is part of many of the strongest ensemble casts in recent years.

Are you wanting the answer posted yet, or left for the other Sidsters. He is a natural Bourne star if you ask me though.

Interesting point is that although he is a massive name, I suspect that people would guess it was one of his contemporaries.

I'm guessing his better-known friends are also better-paid so that's what makes him the value champ.

I'm not surprised someone else knew the answer since I heard it on the radio on my way to work this morning and they always get their news from sources readily available elsewhere. I'm just a little surprised that it was an item in England -- or did you read it on the internet?

I read it on BBC Ceefax but it is on the internet.

rolleyes.gif Gee, I wonder who the Talented guy could be? He does seem to receive a lot of Good Will from his co-stars. I'm not surprised the BBC has the news, as Oceans don't seem to separate us as much now that the Internet is around.

Go ahead and groan; I did. lol.gif

You guys have already made use of the best puns so I only add that yesterday it was all over those free newspapers you get on the London underground. lol.gif
