Sid gets asked a specific question about his character at about the 35 minute mark and talks about his connection to the Sudan as well as his intent in portraying Prince Nasir the way that he did - "My goal was to show that Arabs have a beating heart."

Also, the woman who asked him the question makes a swooning comment that I'm sure y'all will appreciate. wink.gif

Hi Mel.

Thanks for posting this for us to enjoy.

I wonder if I am correct in the asumption that the comment was about Sid's eyes?.

Also I just downloaded audio / rather than video. Was that what I should have received as I spent a couple of minutes wondering if the link had failed.

It is audio only, so you got the whole shebang.

And yes, it was about the eyes. I had a good giggle when she said that. lol.gif Nice to know that the critics/press have a similar reaction, huh?

Hi Mel. bye1.gif

I knew the minute the women mentioned Sid's eyes it was what you meant.

The lady has good taste.

Interesting discussion, and thought that Sid made some very important points.

I think is will really put SId on the international map.

I finally downloaded it.

I think it's very interesting. (Not only the things Sid has to say. wink.gif )

But I found it sometimes a bit difficult to find out who was talking. I did reckonize Sid's voice and I'm pretty sure I knew when Clooney was talking.
I mean you can figure it out by listening to what they say and to whom the question was directed. But sometimes it was a bit difficult because I never heard one of the other guys talking before.
Sometimes I'd like to see some faces. tongue.gif
Or maybe I shouldn't have listened to it at 11 PM. lol.gif (Will do again.)

I had trouble discerning between Gaghan and Baer, depending on the question asked. I expected Baer to have a deeper voice.

Thank you Mel for your tip (with the 35 minute mark).

I just knew George Clooney´s voice. I just know Sid´s voice out of Vertical Limit and there he spoke with a arabic touch, so I had problems to identify Sid´s "normal" voice.
It was the fist time I had heard to such a discussion in English. So I had sometimes problems to understand what they are talking about. whistling.gif
