Yes, I received mine in the mail today. I got a free three-month subscription when I bought a gift for a friend at Best Buy. I had the choice of three magazines and chose Entertainment Weekly. What a delight to see my first issue featured Syriana on the cover with a photo of Sid on page 31! I haven't subscribed to this magazine for YEARS and Sid is in the first one I got for free. Lucky me!

A co-worker tried to give me an issue of Entertainment Weekly at work yesterday because it had Syriana featured on the cover and he knew I'd be interested. His daughter had gotten a free subscription when she used some frequent flyer miles. Wow! I get a free subscription from a retailer. She gets a free subscription from an airline. Is this magazine pushing for new subscribers or what!

But Syriana is the big winner here. I have to assume thousands of people are getting this magazine that wouldn't have otherwise and the article is excellent!

Yes, this is an excellent piece of advertising for the movie and should help give people "talking points" to discuss after seeing it.
