Well, for those of us who are not in the UK we have to be satisfied with buying the DVD (this way we can watch it anytime). And that's just what I've done. I've just ordered the DVD from Amazon.com and it should arrive any day now---an early Christmas present to myself. tree.gif I'm so looking forward to viewing it. yahoo.gif It's good to know that ADM is still available. Thank you, thank you, thank you rowofhearts.gif

P.S. - Boy, Sid must look pretty young in it.

Boy, Sid must look pretty young in it.

Actually, he is playing a man at least a decade older than Sid was at the time so he is doing his best to look older than his years. I doubt you'll see him looking much younger than you're used to. He is very impressive in the role -- doubly so when you think about how young he was. Remember, when Rick Berman saw him in A Dangerous Man, he thought he might be appropriate for the role of the commander of the space station. He had no idea Sid was still in his twenties.

On the subject of Sid looking whatever age his character is supposed to be, when I was taking screen captures of "Cards on the Table", I thought Sid looked downright boyish at times. At forty, he's actually a bit young for that role, but he LOOKED even younger than his years.

Agreed. I think part of the reason (aside from Sid just looking younger than he is) is that he was having so much fun with the role. That twinkle in his eye took a few years off. lol.gif

Well, the DVD arrived yesterday and I got a chance to watch it---twice. It is a great piece. And really Sid looks timeless in it---but doesn't he in everything he does?

What a role! It's easy to see how it has lead to other parts. I don't know how he manages to say all those lines in Arabic, however---in this movie and even in Syriana. That alone is a marvelous feat. 2thumbs.gif

That's strictly a British channel isn't it? We Americans are left out again(remember Hannibal:Rome's Worst Nightmare?) Will we never get to see these movies on our side of the "pond"?
Mel
It may not be airing on our networks, but you can buy a copy on DVD to watch any ol' time you want.
