I was on YouTube, watching a few Michael Jackson vids, then I started poking around. I found this "Kingdom of Heaven" interview/story from 2008 called, "Kingdom of Heaven: Orlando Bloom: Devoted Fans."

The piece, as it suggests, is about Orlando's rapid young female fans, but various members of the cast are interviewed. There are two or three very short segments with Sid. I must say, he looks amazingly cute here. The funniest thing is, he's relating how disappointed fans were when it was he who appeared, not Orlando. Don't fret, Sid -- you still have your devoted 300 "Sneeze-Watchers"!
Although I must say, seeing how intense -- and downright scary! -- those hoards of fans were, it's just as well that Sid (or anyone we would care about) doesn't have to deal with that.

I wonder if this was taken from one of the extras of the dvd? (I still have not watched all things on the dvd.
)Because Sid kind of looks he is wearing the same as in those dvd extras.
And poor Orlando. Kind of reminds of the crowds when he was in that play two years ago.

It was exactly this interview on the extras of the "Kingdom of Heaven" DVD that made me wanting to know a bit more about Sid as a person.
I mean, I am a fan of Deep Space Nine, recognized him in "Reign of Fire" and was happy to see him in this fine part in KOH, but at that time I was foremost curious how a good actor from one of my favorite series would be able to continue his carrier. In this interview, he was so likeable that I started to wonder what person he is besides being an actor.
So, that interview is what finally brought me here

Orlando's fans should have mercy on him. How is a person supposed to stay sane if people who are supposed to be intelligent go so wild for someone only showing his face?
Don't get me wrong, I am passionate about some things or people, too. But if I screamed myself hoarse like that I would not be able to tell someone how much I love his work or whatever else.
Hm, if I met Sid by chance I most likely would freeze and not be able to say a word. Might be that this is only the other side of that coin?
