I'm currently watching Cards On the Table as I'm typing this. I taped it a few years ago from the Biography channel.

I Love this movie!

I love this movie too!

I picked up a four-pack of Poirot movies because it had Cards on the Table, and I watch it more than the other three combined, although I do like them too.

It's the reason I first started watching the Suchet "Poirot" movies, and I'm glad I did.

Mel, did you fix the spelling for me?

Thanks, if you did. I know how to spell Poirot but my fingers worked to quickly for me to catch the typo blush.gif

Must have been Ulli. smile.gif

FYI, I've deleted the posts referencing where to find the show online. Whoever posted it online is guilty of piracy and therefore we cannot support it in any way.

Mel, will you please explain more about piracy? What is okay and what isn't?

Hi Mel,
I understand about piracy - and I detest when people download actual movies or make illeagl copies of DVDs. But then ... I have to admit that I happily watched this TV show on youtube, without considering that piracy also applies on "older" TV shows, especially as I only wanted to see the sceens with Sid.

After your reminder, I went to SidCitys "available on DVD" section:
Unfortunalty for me, the DVD there is encoded in region 1.
Amazon UK and Amazon Germany also offer Poirot DVDs as a collection - but which one is it on? Can't find out. sad.gif

Someone got an idea ? Unfortunatly, product information does not necessarily include the titles and the German translation may be far away from "Cards on the Table". (Concerning German translations of movie or TV titles, I could .... no, not in this post)

As long as something is available on dvd/video or cinema or hasn't even been released yet it shouldn't be posted on youtube or elsewhere.

@Tabet: "Cards on the Table" was never released in Germany. German TV stations stopped showing new Poirots exactly a season before that episode. I have emailed ndr/wdr several times but they always told me that there are no plans to show any new Poirot films. (Although they bought those films.) I don't even know if it has been dubbed, yet.
That means I'm not sure if "Cards on the tble" was ever relased on a German dvd collection. My guess is "no".
But I haven't payed atention to that this year, so maybe.....*shrug*

Any copyrighted material presented in a way that does not bring revenue to the studio (i.e. You Tube, torrents, file sharing) is piracy.
