Been doing some cleaning around the house while I'm on leave and my ADD requires me to have background noise so I dug out my collection of DS9 VHS tapes recorded from TV. I ended up watched "Seige of the AR-558" while I was working in my kitchen the other day and that turned out to be a rather emotional event. I think I sobbed more during that one than I did when I watched WYLB originally!

I guess it has something to do with the fact that my friend Matt is finally being deployed this fall to the Middle East. It's been delayed about three times right now, for health reasons and other official excuses. I guess watching that episode just hit me kinda hard.

I guess that's why I am hesitant to watch "Strike Back." But then I again, I need to face my fears about what could happen to Matt. I've worked with disabled and homeless veterans my entire life so I know what can happen.

I just keep telling myself that he hasn't fullfilled his life's purpose yet and so he has to come home.

Sorry for dumping on you guys and (sorry Mel and the admins if this doesn't fit in the category), but none of my friends would have any clue what I was talking about.
