I know it's not coming out until May 2006, but when I saw that the flash website was up with a teaser trailer I got all excited about this! The music will rock your socks! Take a look. http://www.x3movie.com/

Sometimes I feel a little silly for loving these movies so much. However, it gives me something in common with my 8 year-old nephew. paperbag3.gif

It's going to be FANTASTIC! Beast is back! And and and... *gasp*

Ah, it's going to blow our minds, eh? I was reading about production on an interview with Patrick Stewart on Star Trek.com and he seemed to be enjoying himself.

They're such good movies, comics, tv shows etc. X-Men appeals to many because it's about discrimination, and about being yourself, only special. You're you, but you can do things that no one else can. You're essential and you have a purpose, a feeling which is sorely lacking in a lot of people these days.

They all have a these abilities that are amazingly cool, but they also have huge downsides.
Cyclops emits beams of energy from his eyes, and thus can't look at anyone without killing them, unless he has sunnies on.
Wolverine. Adamantium skeleton and claws. That hurt like heck whenever he pulls them out. His original special power is that of healing. He got shot in the head and survived (his skeleton stopped it from hitting his brain. He then lay unconscious for a minute. Then he was fine! Yay Hugh Jackman!)
Rogue. Can borrow powers through touch. Can't touch anyone. (She drains their life force)

It's the same for us. We may be really good at english or maths. But that ostracizes us as well. Being special and different can be lonely and X-Men are a family. Luckkkyyy....

Take that bag off your head, zoe bear. There is nothing wrong with being infatuated with movies, comic books and wonderfully talented and handsome actors........okay, so the comic book part may be pushing it, but the rest is perfectly okay. whistling.gif

I am excited as well. I was happily surprised that X2 was so good. I hope this one isn't going to have the 3rd sequal curse.

I'm sure it's going to rock, Busy. I can't believe they brought Beast and Angel back. It's such a relief. And Kelsey grammar! biggrin.gif

I was shocked that X-2 was actually a fantastic movie. Normally sequels are bad, but even as a normal movie,l not a sequel it worked.

Hey, X2 had Nightcrawler! Best opening fight ever!

I'm bummed that he won't be in X3. I was't going to see it because of lack of Nightcrawler, but then I saw the trailer.......

D= !!! NO NIGHTCRAWLER! But... what about the chemistry between him and Storm (who has cut her hair! very swish!)

And I agree, that Nightcrawler attack on the Whitehouse was amazing. I love his character... his past... that dirty little secret about him. And he's so sweet!

I loved in X-2 when Jean "died" and Cyclops and Wolverine fell all over each other crying... it's nice to see men get in touch with their feelings. Seeing full grown, nice, sweet men cry makes me strangely elated... and sad.
