Yes he was, but I was talking about being Blown Away by his acting. I loved his character. The role was bigger than I had anticipated, but I didn't anticipate the Nitro scene. That scene affected me so much I had a dream about it last night.

Not sure if I've figured out how to manipulate these quotes right yet but here goes: Talk about Blown Away! I finally rented both Vertical Limit and Reign of Fire, (having been simply a Sid as Dr. Bashir fan all of these years till I got on the Internet and met all of you folks) (Thanks!!!). I WAS blown away by how much Sid's eyes convey in the brief moments they actually appear on the screen. I WAS NOT expecting the aforementioned 'nitro-scene' and, oh my, I almost 'blew up' at my poor innocent tv set. Now, I want so much to see Syriana but am wondering if I will be angry again. How dare they??? He's just too beautiful to treat in that fashion (Deep Sigh!).

I rented Vertical Limit this afternoon. I, too, was pleased to see that Sid has more of a part in it than in Reign of Fire. And the character was more well-drawn, i.e., he was more of a solid person than in ROF. Sid did a great job with the accent. I could believe that he was a Pakistani. Admirable, indeed.

As for the movie itself---it not only kept me on the edge of my seat; I couldn't even sit still it was so suspenseful from the beginning all the way to the end. I can see how someone can have nightmares because of it. WOW . . . that's all I can say. Not even Syriana is anywhere near that suspenseful.

I wonder if my acrophobia has anything to do with it?

When I saw Vertical Limit for the first time. I was shocked when he was blown away and stopped looking the film. Some hours I went on looking the film until the end.

I just watched it on TV!! I've seen parts of it before tonight but now I've actually seen all of it! I didn't even know it was on...I just turned on the TV because it was time for The Simpsons and instead VL was on! It was really cool!

Reign of fire is in my library queue. It seems to be a popular movie.

I too did see that VL was on TV the other day. I would have watched it if I JUST didn't see it.

I have both films on DVD. So I can watch them whenever I want to see them.

I'll be getting ROF hopefully before the weekend. It has only been in my library queue for 2 months. Sheesh!
