Give it time, hon. It just opened, didn't it? Just like Cairo Time, they're most likely opening it in the big markets (LA, New York, and then expanding).

EW gave it a decent review by the way. No mention of Sid except to say he played her father.

Aha! A fellow Long Islander! I grew up there and moved away in 1986 but still think about it every now and then. When ever I am stuck in traffic usually. lol

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Malverne (Nassau County) and now I live in Lynbrook-just one town away
Wendy
Born in Merrick, I crossed county lines and grew up in Commack.

People magazine has an article about Miral along with a picture of Sid. YAY! This is going to be one of the few movies that I go to the theaters to see. If my town will show it, that is. Being a marine base town, movies that don't have cars and flying machines exploding every few minutes don't usually make it here. Thinking style movies are not well received.

You were born in the same town as Debbie Gibson!

Who was on the cover of the People magazine? I don't want to miss it as they're a weekly publication
Wendy
Don't know who Debbie Gibson is but I know that Rosie O'Donnel grew up in Commack. She's about 10 years younger than me so our paths never crossed that I know of.

She was very popular in the late 80's and wrote her own songs: "Only In My Dreams", "Shake Your Love", "Electric Youth", and

"Lost in Your Eyes":

It's one of my favorite songs because I always think of his gorgeous hazel eyes
