Is there a possibility to have this available to download directly on my computer?
Because all I get is a link which requires an internet connection. And my connection is a bit slow, so it stops playing after every five seconds.

I have the same Problem Ulli. I´ve just ISDN and at the weekend the connection is very very slowly.

But I have another problem, when I start to play the interview I got an error from the realplayer like that (I just try to tranlate it): Realplayer can´t play the file. Maybe there are problems with your server. blink.gif

And this number or something like that is behind the message:
rtsp://128.197.27.80:554/w/b/wbur/herenow/2005/12/hn_1220.rm?start=29:40&cloakport=8080%2c554%2c7070

Is there someone who knows what I have to do to be able to play the interview with my realplayer or another player like winamp, quick time, windows media player ... ???? hmmm.gif
Mel
Did you right click on the link and save the file to your computer? It should play just fine then.

That's what I did. But all I get is the streaming link. It looks like the file contains more than it shows but my computer seems unable to find it. It's the same problem I had with one of the videos. hmmm.gif
Where is the expert? (having a nice christmas, I guess. biggrin.gif - I can wait, maybe somebody comes up with a solution.)

Yes I did. I get the same error message when I want to start playing the file.

Great interview, thanks Mel! " I love Klingons!" LOL!
Sancha
Thanks, Mel. The interview was great!

Thought I'd let you know, though, that I had to jump through a few hoops to get it. It downloaded fine, but I needed to update my "RealPlayer" software in order to play it. And even then I had to be online in order for the software to access it---despite the "download."

And it brought up a question: Is there suppposed to be video with it or is the just 14 minutes of all audio? Still it was nice to hear Sid . . . and learn some things.

Thanks again!
Mel
Ah, perhaps that is why Naddel and Ulli are having trouble getting it. Ladies, make sure you update your Real Player software, then see if it works.

Sancha, since it's a radio interview, there is no video. wink.gif

doh.gif Of course. Next time I'll read the specifics.
Naddel
Okay.
I had to download the Realplayer again and now it runs. cheer.gif
And it doesn´t stop. My connection seems to be much faster that I guessed.

Unbelievable but true: It finally run on my RealPlayer. smile.gif
I still needed an internet connection but it didn't stop in the middle of it.

Fantastic interview. 2thumbs.gif
I enjoyed it very much. Thank you.

The realplayer is getting better and better.
I remember my first one and I hate it. It never runs or stopped in the middle of the download and started everytime new when this happend. So I prefered Quicktime or Winamp.
But today the realplayer is able to play every file I want to see or to hear.
