I like what you did with the pic of Sid. Never worked with Photoshop - is it difficult to handle?

Depends on what you want to do with it and how much computer experience you have. I have been using Photoshop for about....12 years now so its easy for me, plus I belong to the NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals) and they have tutorials and how to do things. The water bubble was a tutorial from a deviantArtist. It was my very first one and my very first piece of artwork that looks like ...painted art I guess you would call it.
What do you usually use to play around with photos?

I have some very old photo software called iPhoto Express which came with a scanner I had long ago. It's great for fixing photos. I use it for the newsletter. Normally software is obsolete within 5 years or so, but my photo editing software must be at least 15 years old at this point and I feel no temptation to replace it with something newer.

Well, I don't usually play around with my photos .. a bit of IrfanView enhancing the light and colours, that's it. Would like to do a bit more experiments, but lack of time is another point. Once started to use Lightroom, to catalogize etc, but my laptop does not have enough capacitiy - at least the processing became slower and slower, so I gave up.
