A&E has the Cards on the Table DVD available to pre-order now with a release/ship date of February 8, 2006.

Thanks, Mel. This is great news. Now I'll be able to have a closer and longer look. I find I have to see something twice to pick up the details---and especially with mysteries.

Sad to say, A & E pushed the release back to March 17th.

Cards on the Table is now available for pre-order in Australia at FBO and EzyDVD. It's due for release on 6 April.

Am I right that the FBO version is multi region while the EZYdvd is only suitable for the Australian market!.

Hope someone can help as I never understand all the complex technology specifications.

Both sites have the following note: This DVD is formatted for playback on PAL systems (Australia / Europe). This DVD may NOT be viewable in countries with the NTSC system. (US / Canada)

Which means that the version they have available is compatible with DVD players in Europe and the UK.
