Ok guys, I was able to grab the trailer from Yahoo and I made a few screen caps. Not all of them are great quality. Sid seemed to be moving in a lot of them which reduces the quality of the cap. But anyway, here are the ones I grabbed.

Oh dear! And I'd been so pleased with my Syriana page for the newsletter. Now I'm tempted to rip it out and replace it with.... No. Must control myself. I have the photos from the Syriana web site. Take a deep breath. Let it go. Must remember that I'll need new photos to go with people's Syriana reports in the January issue. I could use some of Zoe Bear's splended captures there. Yes! That's what I'll do.

Well, I've posted a total of 21 caps of Sid on my LJ (I didn't think the quality of a number of them warranted loading them here), plus an animated avatar that I put together. (For some reason, when I tried to use the avie here, the animation wouldn run after I uploaded it . )

However, since I'm not sure about the rules regarding linking to LJ's, if you'd like to take a gander, PM me and I'll send you the link.

Well, I managed to get it to work. This time I tried hosting it myself at photobucket intead of uploading it from my computer. Don't know why that made a difference, but as you can see, it's now working.

Making these things really isn't all that difficult as long as you have the time and patience (oh, it helps to have Windows Movie Maker and you must have PS and Image Ready). I found a great tutorial on one of the LJ's that gives you the step by step instructions.

According to imb.com the release date is March 3rd. It's changed from the last time I looked, at the weekend, when it said January

At least you'll get to see it next year! It'll be a good two or three years before I ever get to see it. grrrrr. There ought to be a law that Sidsters get to see these movies months in advance of when they come out!!!!!

Awesome ZB! I must try making animated avi's with PS. I've done it with PSP, but haven't dabbled yet with making one in PS.

My fave is the one with Sid in the suit. Time for a new siggy!
