Hi Everyone.

Just felt the need to note the 1st anniversary of the passing of John Peel who IMHO is/was the most important influence on the UK music scene.

If you know a major UK act from the last 40 years (especially if you are overseas) he will have discovered them and played the records to the public first on his radio show.

He made me laugh with his dry wit and humour and befuddled me often with his strange taste in music.

The great man is sadly missed.
