I wasn't going to try to compete with all the talented and highly trained people on this board. Obviously I don't know how to get some of the wonderful effects you do. However, what I do have is a kick-ass collection of Sid photos. To be precise, eight boxes of photos in the club archive. It seems likely I could do something with that much to choose from.

While researching photos, I came across this one from 1994. Most of you regulars would have seen it long ago, but I wanted to share it with the newcomers because I think the story behind it is so cute.

This was Sid's first meeting with his fan club and they were taking photos of him. Someone asked him for a "Hollywood pose." I don't know what she was expecting, but Sid's interpretation was as you see. He put on his sunglasses and put up his hand as if to suggest he didn't want his photograph taken. It got a big laugh and it always makes me smile.
