Sid wrapped his role in The Last Legion in mid-September (and went right into work on Hannibal). He had a few things to share about working on this project:

Well, I'm glad he had fun. Mid September I was still trying to memorize my class schedule. *sigh* Oh, well, the important thing is that Sid had fun (I think)

It's great to hear when Sid has a chance to 'rub elbows' so to speak with long standing names in the business.

No official release date is set - just TBA 2006 - but I've seen speculations of March 2006, July 2006, and Fall 2006.

Sid plays Theodorus Andronikus, the Byzantine Emissary. More information about the film is posted at SidCity.net under Projects.

Is the film still in production?

I'm out of my head. Perhaps Sid were in Italy (one of the location is Capri) and I didn't know that...sob!

Anna, as Mel stated in her first post, Sid finished this project a while back and had already begun working on Hannibal, which is covered in that respective thread.

mrsjack I understood mel's post, but perhaps I didn't explain well my question.

Has only Sid finished filming, or all the movie is finished?
I looked for TLL on internet, and many sites say that the movie is still in production.
And, if it's still in production, I'm curious to know when it will be located in Capri, because, after reading the book TLL (I love V.M. Manfredi, the writer), I've supposed that the Italian scenes would be filmed in autumn, not in summer.
And, last, I know that Sid's character is not present in the Italian scenes, but I've hoped that he could seize the day to have a trip to Italy only to eat spaghetti with his friends of TLL.

I'm sorry if I don't understand immediatly (or if I explain my concepts in a bad way),but I didn't write in english for about 10 years.

I promise I'll study soon.

Ah, now I understand, annaclaudia. Yes, I think the film is in the final days of production. They were in Capri for a very short time (and Sid was already finished filming), then they moved on to Slovakia where they have been for the past 6 weeks.
