WATCH: The Sid City Social Club Halloween Party

By  |

On October 30, we hosted a Halloween party during our usual Sid City Social Club meeting time. We saw costumes from around the world, learned about the origins of Halloween and Samhain, saw some epic carved pumpkins, and heard several spooky stories. Special guest Nana Visitor shared a ghost story from her youth. And Alexander Siddig, dressed as Ziggy Stardust, sang an a capella version of “Life on Mars” to start the party then closed it with a reading of Neil Gaiman’s short story “Click Clack the Rattlebag”.

It was an epic event, and now you can see it for yourself! We’ve posted both the 95-minute highlight video and the 10-minute excerpt of Siddig reading “Click Clack the Rattlebag”. Settle in and enjoy!

Mel started a fan site for Siddig in 1996, as a way to learn HTML and to promote his charitable endeavors. In 1998, he proposed that it become his official fan site; she quickly agreed and a long-distance friendship was born. You can reach Mel at mel[at]sidcity[dot]net.
