Hello, Sidsters! Just a couple of quick Alexander Siddig news bites for you today including a new, confirmed appearance and a behind-the-scenes example of integrity.

Destination Star Trek

Siddig is confirmed to appear at the Destination Star Trek event in Birmingham, England, October 19-21. He is currently scheduled to be there all three days, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to meet him and hear him speak. #METOO: When DS9 Got It Right

Faith Salie played Sarina Douglas in two episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, season 7’s “Statistical Probabilities” and “Chrysalis”. In an upcoming episode of Science Goes to the Movies, Faith recounts how the producers of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine went out of their way to ensure that her character, Sarina, was not seen as beholden to Dr. Bashir or owing him her affections and that Dr. Bashir didn’t come across as a predator.
